Italy 2015: 48 Hours in Milano (Part 2)

I think we made a wise decision spending two days in Milan. It's a big enough city that you need some time there, but it's small enough that you don't need an entire week.
Our second day was a little cloudy with a mist of rain here and there but we toted along our umbrellas and made the most of it.

BASILICA SANT'AMBROGIO
After breakfast, we walked over to Sant'Ambrogio and lucky for us, they were hosting a one day flower market. So, we caught a little refuge from the rain and got to stare at gorgeous flora.
Okay, so wisteria in Italy smells super amazing. I don't know why but it's extra fragrant and super sweet smelling.
SANTA MARIA PRESSO SAN SATIRO
This church is gorgeous with immaculate tiling and murals and gorgeous architecture.
So this painting; apparently someone stabbed it and it bled. I don't necessarily buy into these miraculous happenings, but I do think it's kind of cool.
If you're into food, Eataly is an amazing destination. There's food everywhere and you can watch people making fresh pasta and fresh mozzarella and it's awesome.
It was an amazing trip. I want to go back again really soon.
xoxo.
