Antigua 2026

For spring break, J and I went to Antigua. I had been craving a snorkel adventure for a while and after the harsh winter, a beach break sounded like a perfect way to relax. I didn't know too much about the island going into this trip, but as it turns out, it's a really fun place. The variety of activities is plentiful, there are loads of beaches, there are organized events and markets, and the people are so kind and welcoming.

We stayed at the Cocobay Resort, which is an adults only, all inclusive spot that turned out to be pretty great. The meals were made to order, they offered snacks and coffee and smoothies throughout the day, there were loads of activities, and the property was pretty and luxe. We rented a car to be able to have a bit of freedom though, and that turned out to be great. We had a few meals outside of the resort, including at Aunty Cavell's, which had awesome oxtails.

I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.
